This area is noted for Chinook or King salmon, Coho or Silver salmon, Sockeye or Red salmon, Humpy or Pinksalmon, and Dog or Chum salmon. This area also yields Halibut, Snapper, Ling cod, and Rock cod.The lake and stream fishing also abound with Steelhead, Dolly Varden, Grayling, Rainbow, and Cutthroat trout. Fly fishing in the Ketchikan area is also excellent.
