Born and raised in Ketchikan and has over 30 years in the business with commercial and sport fishing. His Grandfather fished commercially for several years in the area. Booking with us will offer you well over 100 years experience in the area. We live here year round and have for three generations. You will for sure here some amazing stories of old Ketchikan and what’s on the horizon for the future!

Rick specializes in wild caught Salmon and Halibut. Rick enjoys providing you with a successful trip and a really great time! We have the local knowledge and information on where to go and what to see.

Whether this is your first time or you are a expert at sport fishing, you will have the trip of a lifetime with Ketchikan Big Fish and Captain Rick. Bring the family we can take up to 6 people per boat. Have a big group? No Problem we can accommodate you! We own and Operate 2 Boats with access to more upon request.
